Introduction

Century College has provided a HyFlex modality for students to choose from. In parallel, faculty teaching HyFlex go through a three-phase professional development process: I. training on HyFlex course design, II. training on HyFlex classroom technology, and III. modeling HyFlex teaching practice. This ancillary resource aims to support instructors in HyFlex design training and instructional designers facilitating HyFlex course design workshops.

 

 

The objectives of the HyFlex Course Design training are:

    1. Explain core concepts guiding HyFlex Design
    2. Create a Course map for the HyFlex course
    3. Create a Course syllabus for the HyFlex Course
    4. Revise and re-organize course modules to reflect the HyFlex core principles
    5. Document and share learning experiences in HyFlex teaching for continuous improvement
