Module 5: Implementation and Evaluation
Do These Things
Action Plan Submission
It’s time to submit your Action Plan! Review the Action Plan Instructions, then within the assignment drop-box in the course shell, attach the revised version of the Word document you generated from the Action Plan form.
Survey
As a follow-up to the Faculty Learning Communities (FLC) experience, we ask that you complete the Faculty Learning Communities Post-Session Survey. This information will be used for reporting purposes and also to inform the project’s development; all survey submissions are anonymous.
Discussion
Having a plan to measure the effectiveness of your equity work can help you make efficient, effective choices about equitable teaching practices. It can also empower you when advocating for your institution, administrators, and colleagues to join you in this work.
In this discussion, break down your approach for evaluating the effectiveness of your Action Plan. Identify one thing you can count and one thing you can describe that will help you know your Action Plan is achieving the goal you set for yourself. How might you use this information to persuade others to implement or more effectively support equitable teaching?
