Part 4: Sustainable Examples of AI in OER

Artificial intelligence holds significant potential to enhance educational efficiency by expanding learning opportunities beyond the limitations of what a single educator can design or implement. Given the time constraints educators often face, AI serves as a valuable tool for generating a wide range of instructional materials, activities, and resources that might otherwise be difficult to develop within existing time and workload demands. Beyond these practical applications, AI can empower students to become creators of Open Educational Resources (OER) and develop stronger digital literacy skills, promote student-centered learning, and foster greater student agency.
