In addition, CLD fosters (a) collaboration among professionals; (b) the development of leaders in the field; and (c) advocacy for policies that support individuals with learning disabilities at local, state, and national levels.
Learning Disabilities of America (LDA)
LDA’s mission is to create opportunities for success for all individuals affected by learning disabilities through support, education, and advocacy.
National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD)
One in five people have learning and attention issues, including specific learning disabilities such as dyslexia and/or attention issues such as ADHD. These individuals are just as capable as their peers, but many struggle in school and beyond because they fail to get the support they need. We know that with the right support, they can thrive. NCLD works every day to make meaningful change for individuals with learning and attention issues.
