Conclusion
In this chapter, we learned about students with ADHD, the impacts on their development and school success, and classroom support for them, including proper identification. We processed our learning through the experiences of “Ed,” a middle schooler. We also learned about the most current trends of equity and inclusion concerning students with ADHD to include a way forward for educators. The information shared specifically outlines what has been consistently successful and what has not, including misconceptions about ADHD that educators must dispel.
