- Description: Reflection paper. Students will attend a school board meeting, either in person or virtually, to gain firsthand experience in local governance, observe decision-making processes, and write a reflection paper summarizing their observations and insights on how communities and families interact with school districts, as well as the issues impacting local schools and communities.

definition
Disposition. The teacher understands the expectations of the profession including codes of ethics, professional standards of practice, and relevant law and policy.
Knowledge. The teacher understands schools as organizations within a historical, cultural, political, and social context and knows how to work with others across the system to support learners.
